About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Placement Officer to coordinate student placements across multiple program areas within the Human Services and Education department. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and fostering strong relationships with external partners to support student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain placement logistics and documentation across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
- Provide high-quality customer service to students, staff, and placement providers
- Maintain and manage placement databases (e.g., InPlace, Strata, Markbook)
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to secure placement opportunities
- Monitor student compliance with Police Checks, NDIS screening, and WWCC
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team development
- Work independently to manage placement-related workflows and problem-solving
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant qualification and experience in placement administration within an educational setting
- Advanced organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and placement systems
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Knowledge of regulatory environments and compliance standards
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
